Hey all, we are going to do the frost giant mods, the fire giant mod and mostreg on sunday nights over the next few weeks for those that want in...
so far the party includes
kimmerlie 14th (7 wizards 1 noble, 6 eldritch arcane level gray elf
vito 11th level paladin half vampire
arakrull 12 level necromancer

Well, if I remember correctly, there already is a portal placeable on the 2nd level down in the summoning room. I think it's a swirling blueish mass in one of the corners of the room. That is where the portal should be. You step into it and (if you can do this) it first asks you (yes/no) if you want to port to....Where was it supposed to go again? Zapphies? The question is in case you step into it by accident. He can use Zapphies to get to where he wants to go. They are the ones supposedly working on it after all.
I have to admit I was really surprised to see Joe's character hacking away at simple peasant people who can't fight or defend themselves compared to more powerful types like himself. I know they came at him first but I thought he was of a good alignment but he certainly didn't act like it nor try very hard to resist attacking them. Could have just ran away and they would have given up the chase in the next screen. Hearing the children crying out as they were being cut down was the most disturbing. So all in all, who was the real evil one in the group?

LOL... yes joe had some issues... he is going to have to give to the poor over and over again.  As far as the portal goes... can I do something like this. Have a lever on the ground... when pulled a portal to zaphies appears (flash bang)... when pulled again... the portal disappears. how does that sound? |

Works for me. Put the appearing portal where the current one resides. I'm wondering if your lever idea is so to make it only work for members or am I wrong? |

No, it is because I did something similar somewhere else and it will be easy to transfer when I find out where that was.

I will not be playing tonight. I did a double header at the theater today even though I'm still not feeling better yet and just got back about a half hour ago. I still have to eat, get cleaned up and collect the garbage. Have fun without me. I'll try again another time.

Haven't done the 'salad' dungeon fully. Only one attempt with Ragnar years ago.
