I've been talking a bit with Stingray about the need for an influx of new players.
I want to try out the following;
Facebook/friends recruiting
- joining up on facebook NWN groups and promote Karador
- having family and friends get an opportunity to join the game, for this i can lend cd keys i have spare (2) for those events, for i will have to use them for my own friends to introduce them.
Make an Event
for example:
DM guidance for simple level 1 quests a whole weekend in Karador. DM playing in shifts in the ten year anniversary recruitment weekend!
maybe for this even some areas can be adapted for easy acces so that new players dont end up reading up for two hours?
Modern Tech promotion:
Crazy little me played a lot more games in the meantime, streaming my sessions online, while chatting with the people i then recruit to play might be fun to share around on youtube
silly banter and amazement will me contagious!
Improvements:
Maybe a one zipfile of all the items needed to download for WOK with all the haks/tlk etc in sorted folders ready to merge ?
it took me a little bit of fiddling myself with the files (im rusty and spoiled!)
Maybe this can be done somehow ?
