Kara-tur comes to Karador? Whadda ya think? I promise to keep it culturally correct as possible. If interested, please post character ideas, including D&D "country" of origin...(if applicable) Established characters welcome, levels 2 - 6? Listen to this as you think of an idea: youtu.be/zc4AkEC_UWU

I think if you are hosting a Kara-Tur themed adventure thats awesome... I wish I could play In the future it would be cool to have a seperate .mod on a seperate instance of nwserver with some far off lands like a Karador kara-tur or Maztica, or even what Harkker had going with Thel Dinge (and how bout outer planes!?) that could be linked to the main continent somehow, saving resources from affecting the main server. Not sure the logistics of that cause Im not a Nwn toolset or NwnX master. I think the first thing we need to do expansion wise though, is create some higher level zones. I've been drawing out some ideas for a couple, until the day I can actually spend some time modelling and building new assets. We had some players joining and playing regularly for a minute there... then I think they left because there was nothing for them to do when they got to be higher level. I know Karador is a RP first realm, and I like that, but I do think we should try and expand into the epic levels alittle. With some of the PRC classes, and dragons, etc you almost have to be epic level to really use them to their potential.

What is Maztica? I remember hearing the name but I can't remember where it comes from. Makes me think of one of the Hollow World settings.

christhoren.com/oa/Images/Oriental_Adventures_02.pdfI am so ready... christhoren.com/oa/Images/Oriental_Adventures_02.pdf is a link I found with the pdf of oriental adventures.... if I had known I would have saved my hengeyokai for your camapaign. The first thought to mind that comes up is setting. if you were going to run an oriential campaign... you could easily fit it in with the emerald empire background we have...as far as a where a campaign would fit in the world there are a couple of options. 1) Tokaro island has a trading post from the emerald empire which could be expanded with samurai and ronin and lords for plot the trading post of course needs to be protected and the lomarians traded with. it even has its own shaolin temple.... 2)download a prefab city from the vault like Onimura island neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/prefab/area/onimura-islandThe emerald dragon tea house neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/prefab/area/emerald-dragon-tea-housewhich will allow you to build your own setting if you want to use the toolset. Of course I can help if you need it. 3)invade an existing place - have tokaro take over thel dinge (mister bigg did just hire a bunch of mantis clan mercanaries.)or fairfax or the abandoned city on dinosaur island by force. 4)ambassador giard detail... the party works for the diplomats and travel all over the world guarding their leader as he hammers out deal with the kingdoms of the world (alatariel, creda, fairfax, lomar, drow, undercity, phlan.) In either case I am at your service sir in what ever you choose to do.

Sting... Maztica is the Forgotten Realms "Aztec/Maya" type of setting. Jaguar knights and eagle knights that turn into the respective animal, human sacrifice, feathered serpents... all that kind of stuff. There was a novel called Maztica also.

They have that kind of thing in some of the 'lost tribes' hidden away in the Hollow World, which is in the core of the planet of the Known World, the original D&D world.

Ok Joe I added island and the the emerald tea house so you can get a look... the emerald dragon tea house needs to turn more oriental... its patrons look to commoner to me.
the island however looks great but we will need to change it around to give you more access to adventure areas.

I just looked at the server list for 'role play' and in all the time I've been playing this game online, I have never seen this. At least half of all the servers listed are offline. Kind of makes you wonder if NWN1 is on its way out...

Yes it is dying slowly.. it has been for over a decade now....It will happen for a few reasons... one...desktop computers are on their way out... two it is such an old game that some people would rather run other things...
ddo exists...
with the vault going it will leave an empty place in my heart... I used to worry that I never gave enough credit to those who built what they built... but now even if I wanted to find out who made what I couldm=nt at least the prc is still up...
