The Custom mod.
Ok the first thing to talk about it the custom hak... As you can imagine because Karador is celebrating it's tenth year anniversary on 4-6 it has been in development a long time. It is sort of like an old mayan temple in that it just kept getting rebuilt upon itself. As such we ran out of room a long time ago. (there is a 15000 or so limit on the amount of resourses a module can have.) to keep things going I pushed a bunch of stuff into the custom hak. Mostly scripts. A lot of these scripts are stable but not changing... like the hit scripts or old timey scripts... but we also have copies of most of the prc scripts in there as well. Because the top hak beats the lower haks when I want to make a change to a prc hak script or a long standing karador hak script I have to update the custom mod.
Other things in are server side haks that get changed as needed without the rest of the player base needing to download new haks
So this thread is to say what you are working on or what you would like to work on, so we don't step on each others toes.
You have just updated the racial appearance 2da and I think I might want revisit that if you dont get to it in a month or so... so I can add the hengeyoaki animal appearances and possibly some tails for everyone.
I am thinking of updating the polymorph 2da as it because some of the polymorphs I created have trouble move without using the w s a d keys.... clicking doesn't work as well.

oh and I also need to look at the prc conversation for truespeak level up and possibly others. The way the prc does their special feat it does not apply to the person but the hide, so if something happens to the hide all the spells that the character would know are gone forever...
I am going to see how easy it would be to change the code so that the player just gets the feat

Ok, I am done with the racialappearance.2da until I get some models done and into the WOK.hak
I think as long as we post which files we are working on here as you said and re-download the hak before we merge anything into it and re-upload immediately (to make sure its the newest one) we should be fine.
I am planning on changing some of the files in the prc_misc.hak soon to implement new mindblades (phase1 anyway.) I will post specifics before I do it.

Im uploading a new custom hak with mindblade changes now. I downloaded the newest copy you uploaded this morning(?) before applying changes. Should take affect next reboot.

nice... yeah the server was empty so I went ahead and rebooted. The mindblades are sort of working... for some reason there is a "bag" over your hand though, must be some kind of resource missing. It looks fine in the toolset. Also The visFX are not changing even though I changed and recompiled the prc's psi_sk_manifmbld.nss So im uploading a new one with the CEP lightsaber models as a temp workaround.

no i did everything offline, mostly just create new blueprints for mindblades.
then just downloaded the custom, used nwhak to add files and re uploaded.

Ok so tell me, once all this HAK stuff is done for now, do I have to upload all of it again to my skydrive folder or can it be uploaded by others? I'm not sure if I need to be the one doing it or not. I think I allowed others to modify files but I would have to check.

At this point no need for anytone to do anything... but soon enough the 2da train is going to be coming and we will need you to update the haks...

Just say when. If I remember correctly, I need to pay attention to the size of everything. Like the music. If any file(s) go over a certain amount, a password will be required to download so I may have to break up zipped files to avoid this.
