Thanehold act 4 - Entering the doom of the the white mists
Sunday Night 3-09-2014 8:00 Pm Central standard time USA time (two weeks) exactly from the last time we played.
I have not posted anything on this because of the server issues but it seems like Uthganyon will most likely have us a home by then. if this is too short anotice just post and we will push it back a week if you like.
Githnalayus Crouched low in the snow looking at the white dragon’s corpse. It had been killed by a dragon the snow elven ranger could tell, but the bite was much larger and very different in structure from the white’s mouth. He had been in these hills and woods for more than two centuries and had seen everything there was to see. But this was different. Everytime he examined the wyrm’s corpse he got a shock. He could hear some music coming from Thel Dinge which was not too far away and thought that perhaps the town might have a new guardian. This would throw a kink in the king’s plan for a quick revenge upon the thieves. Quick of course being a relative term for the elves, as it could take weeks or months even at top speed. As a forward scout it was his job to scout the land and plan the attack but it was always difficult to keep up with human changes. Even now the humans had plugged the holes in their walls with a huge amount of what looked to be old dwellings. Humans changed so quickly that you could not count on them for anything. Humans were very dangerous and destructive they learned things very quickly despite how brief their lives were.
The elf was so caught up in thinking about the dwellings of humans that he barely noticed the mist. He was out in the open… there was nowhere to run in time. As quickly as he was able he dropped to his knees and started digging in the snow. His hands shook and his heart was weak, he prayed that he could make it in time. It was better to bury himself in the snow then to face what was coming. He pushed the last of the snow over his face as the mist reached him and he prayed.
Please sign up if you are going to play or if you would like us to wait a week
