The Pixies should join up with the Gnomish Nation Union or visa versa and together we shall rule the world.

Well, there are a couple variations on Pixies around the land. At least some (if not all) have become Pixies after having died a horrible / tragic death as a child. For instance when Drakesdale was demolished by Salaad a while back many Pixies including Moona-Dine Willowbark of Serenity Grove came into being. Pixies are from that point immortal (in that they never age or grow old, but can be killed) There is some belief that a Pixie's immortality can be harnessed(their immortality taken from them and somehow transferred to a mortal) by removing their wings. This has not yet been accomplished and my simply be a myth. Yet that hasn't stopped some evil-doers from trying.
Most Pixies either reside in or visit through Serenity Grove, a natural preserve that is guarder over by Gaia Herself (with Pae-Poe Willowbark entrusted as a caretaker of sorts). Pae-Poe is not a true Pixie however but the result of er mother voluntarily transferring some of her life essence to a brave Halfling warrior who defended her native grove far far away against rambunctious Hill Giants. Pae-Poe is what she refers to herself as a Mixie (Part Pixie, Part Halfling) and whether or not she truly ages is uncertain (though if she does, she ages very, very slowly).
It is possible and more likely probable, that there are also Pixies who have simply been as they are since the dawn of life on Karador. Regardless, they know only their Pixie nature and with very few exception recall anything of their previous life. If a Pixie does begin to have flashes of the horror of their previous life or death they can be soothed by remaining in Serenity Grove (perhaps the reason why Moona has not left the Grove in several years).

Generally, Pixies are light-hearted and fun; perhaps a bit mischievous. But there are Dark Fae out there, as an option. Need anything else drop me a line.

Oh yeah, the Great Maze of Keylt (sp?), Its beyond the field with the ghost warriors Lancaster Field or something. In the center is a Count and Countessa or something, larger Fae creatures that are friends to Pixies. They appreciate traphies from Goblin slayings (ears) and exchange them for nice little prizes. Fae in general have a deep hatred for Goblin kind, think of them as their nemesis (nemesi? nemesises??). The Maze can be a little tricky and there are a few larger opponents around the maze, however being ffast and / or invisible can make it a relatively safe location. The badge they give you, if you enlist to aid their cause, also reveals the map of the maze for future reference. Good place for any friend of the Fae folk to visit.

I once saw a maze in the NWN vault listings that just blows away the maze you are talking about as far as looking and feeling like a real, hard to navigate, maze. Always thought the one I saw should one day replace the current one but that would seem to need approval after all this talk and I'd have to find it again.
