The crab did indeed off a couple of the guards, I am certain they were not expecting that to come on their watch. I am not so sure they were trained to deal with crustacean of that size!!! I got a real kick watching Stingrays character lure this large beast to fight the Zombies, as well as a chuckle thinking about the surprise someone would get should they wander onto Karador and perhaps visit Barthen to face impending doom from ED's various undead.... and a massive crab to boot!

Agreed, good job ED. Hmmm, an odd idea: Karador movie/TV parody night. Maybe the idea hit after watching some Walking Dead before playing in ED's event, but there may be gold in them thar (Hollyweird) hills. Imagine if you would a party made up of: a mystical suit of armor, a rampaging Ogre, a Northern Barbarian with a hammer, an archer, some old guy with a shield and some gal with mad fighting skills. Might be fun for a night.

So she wasn't undead after all. Shinara could have taken her then...

Spontaneous Zombie Apocalypse - Season Two (Valshay Rises)
A familiar eerie song echoes across the quiet graveyard as the lone flute player weaves her dark music. Soon the dead begin to crawl forth from their moldy graves. The Minstrel laughs as the dead come forth to serve her, and begins to play louder over the tombs of the fallen heroes and nobles of Jasper. The sky thickens as a grey fog rolls in, cloaking the town under its shadow, as if hiding the evil enchantment from heaven's sight.
The Duke of Renford has issued a bounty of 500 gold pieces for the arrest of the evil bard Modru and put an end to her wicked necromancy.
This adventure is open for anyone to play through. Please use characters that are 3rd to 5th level. Starting Sunday at 8 pm central time, please meet at the Renford City Hall.

Travel to and from the town of Jasper has been restricted. Under order of the baron of Renford, a barricade has been put up round the town and guards have been posted on the roadways leading into the accursed town to contain the evil lurking within. Please refrain from entering the town of Jasper until the campaign begins sunday evening, thank you for your co operation.

Blood filled the streets of Jasper, and the stench of rotting death hung low in the air. The heroes battled through the hordes of undead night after night, almost succumbing to exhaustion and fear, but courage triumphed and the four adventurers eventually cornered the Minstrel after three gruesome nights of combat. Mortally wounded and desperate, Modru flees north with the aid of her ring of invisibility. Her trail is followed for a time, but is then lost in the snow. Jasper will recover, but the evil that plagued her still lives.. Where will the Minstrel spin her wicked siren's song again?..
Thank you all for playing! We had a great time, and I hope to see you all again very soon!

Modru pushed on through the blinding snow. Defeated, injured, and bleeding badly from several sword stikes, she had hurried past the guards at Fort Branard still hidden by the invisibility illusion that her ring supplied. Fleeing the kingdom of Lomar and perhaps dying in the cold north woods was preferable to the gallows noose in Renford. She could still remember the burning sting as the Baron's sword sliced into her flesh and hurried away from Lomar as quickly as her injured body would carry her. The tracks she left disappeared quickly in the drifting snow, and she did not worry about being followed. Many days she traveled, hiding from the fierce ogres and yetis as she passed. Eventually she stumbled upon the carcass of a dead caribou frozen the the snow. Pulling the ancient bone flute from her pack she played it with numb fingers and trembling hands over the half eaten body of the large deer. Withing moments, the the flute worked it's dark magic and the skeleton pulled itself free from the snow. Bones creaking as the frozen sinew and muscle bore her weight, the Minstrel mounted the undead elk, and rode north huddled shivering in the meager warmth of her cloak. She fell into an exhausted slumber as the rythym of the undead deer's steps bore her weight, trekking miles and miles further into the frozen north..

Daria is exhausted, her life's work has prepared her for this sort of battle but still yet she needs rest. She takes the long journey back to the intingwells forest. She sets up her tent, readies her campfire and after a well earned meal of roasted meats she drifts into a long much deserved rest. She dreams of the undead the gnashing of teeth..... their undead screams as they crumble in a heap. She dreams of the monster, the minstrel, the solitary soul that brings them to the world of the live to wreak havoc in their souls. The terror of it all to know full well evil live yet your hands are tied.Daria hd put up a good fight, but when faced with the evil undead it seems she wasn't as Evil as she seemed, she hated to take a life, but what choice had she? A life these putrid things were undead any way she had reassured herself... But what of that Bard with the flute? Evil was evil right? Or perhaps misnamed in a way? Daria was confused as being evil at times and that couldn't be farther from the truth! She was good although her pride prevented her from seeking the magic from the powerful Druid Known as her father. Perhaps with the help of the henchman he'd have sent Daria would have demolished that Succubus? Perhaps it wasn't in the cards..... The fight that insued was brutal, there was so many, the Chancellor of Renford had not exaggerated when he said that she had rose the dead. So many dead.. or undead. But why? What Had plaugued her so so deeply she wished to caused so much destruction? Daria was relived that she had worthy allies to combat the evil companions to conquer these ghouls, but somewhere in her once pure, but now evil heart, she is slightly relieved heart that her worthy adversary Modru, although badly injured would live to see another day.... The magic within her somehow must be connected.
