Add 1 suit of chainmail armor to the list above. Tyrial found a suit on a dead goblin and will hand it over when there is an appropriate place to store such things.

(I'll ask here unless you want to make another thread!)
After some gesticulation over the situation, Rex asks....
Where is the captain of the ship and his sailors? How many. Are there fishing boats? Can/will they fish for food stocks for the town? In short, can we get/build fishing stuff to feed ourselves and the town! Are these men willing to help defend the town(therebye defending themselves also Rex points out)
Can the ship be repaired or is it stuffed? Can the sailors and the chippy do it if possible?
Is there any means of communication with the outside world? Are there any other merchant or other vessels due?
(some of this might require ingame interaction, not sure but those are some questions for starters lol)

The captain and all his crew died fighting a swarm of goblins... The boat both burned and was skuttled by the falling mast. So they are all gone. Though it is possible that someone could try to dive for salvage, Hugo doesn't understand how anyone could survive the extremely cold waters to do so.
He will work on a full list of towns people and their work skill abilities to see if a fisherman(person) is among them.
As far as communication with the outside world goes he will explore those options as well.

Rex takes his armour off and tests how cold the water is, being carefull not to fall in. (he has survival skill, not sure if this qualifies ability to swim)

I could have sworn I saw that ship rammed with another smaller ship.....
We don't have any actual swimming ability but I do know it does exist on another server I once tried out by request.

A certain druid I know at level 5 could turn into a shark, polar bear, penguin(I think?)... maybe one of those could brave the water if Harkker can figure out a way to handle that in game. Of course it would be limited as to what could be retrieved in some of those forms with no hands and all, and level 5 is several sessions away I'm sure. Might not be worth our while.

That shape shifting will be super handy once you can do it. If you noticed Rex's very pale complexion and also the fact that he wears a singlet when it's snowing, you might find yourself asking just what kind of Orc is bred into him.

//side note this has inspired me with in the next few days to create an underwater area next to Thel dinge... for those that can survive it, perhaps it could make a nice way to escape town when the white banner finally comes. (speaking of which I wonder if there are white banners in the game... maybe it will have to be the blue banners)
//Really your best bet for a druid though would be resist elements... and perhaps waterbreathing.
//stingray please do your best to suspend reality and if the dm says the boat is in wreckage pieces, and cant properly put a model of a wrecked boat there because one does not exist and fumbles and places another boat ontop of the other one and then can not make that one go away, please for love of all the effort that poor schmuck of a dm is going through don't mention that you saw the other boat.... it makes dms cry.
//right now I working on a wand that will allow me to have your henchmen speak if you own them... so that should be helpful if it works

//also although I am still shuffling the serfs and giving them homes, if you want to get a general feeling for the layout you can log in and should appear in thel dinge. Not much to do there yet though
// what should the name of the inn/tavern be called

I know you told me about the boat in-game so I thought everyone would know I was joking when I said that here. I guess I forgot to put the ' ' after it to make it official that I wasn't serious. For some reason I keep thinking that I did see a wrecked boat somewhere in the game before but where was it.... Oh right, it's on the shore of Wave Crest Bay where all those giant crabs come pouring out of. I wonder where that boat is located in the toolset...

//Yeah Its too bad the we have these extra animal shapes to shift into (thanks to prc shifting) but they don't have any added benefit...aka birds fly and fast, penguin/polar bear resist frost, shark waterbreathing, etc. It would be more realistic not too mention useful.
