The thinblades dont seem to be properly finessable. For instance my 3Fighter/2Psion/1WarMind character with +1 strength bonus, and +3 dex bonus has a +8AB wielding one short sword and has a +6 wielding one thinblade. I tried taking both the finesse feat and the thinblade proficiency. If I use "Chain of Superiority" feat (+str) the AB for thinblade goes up... so clearly its still using strength.

I'm sure I'm one of the few people with a character using thinblades, so I know its not a huge priority, I'll just redo my levels next server reset so I dont waste that feat on proficiency, and use short shord or rapier for the meantime.

Not sure if the issue is maybe the on-equip script (if different than PRC default) but I know that this works properly using the PRC on a normal mod such as the OC.

Update on this... It seems to be something with the module. If I export the character, load him into a module with all the same haks installed, and then equip thinblades he had in inventory from Karador the finesse works.

If I take that same exported char and use in the karador mod offline, it doesn't work.

I know you're busy on the campaign and other things.... I'm just trying to keep documentation of what has been tried

Yes that's with proficiency. I've tried releveling also...however the finesse feat was taken at 1st. So I can't retake it. Not sure that should matter anyway. Like I said don't worry too much about this with other things more important...i will continue to try some stuff

I will have to take a look at the 2da for base items and see if it is something in there... if not it could be related to the onaquirescript.... which was gumming up the works for some prc stuff. I will take a look but probably not until I have things squared away in Thel Dinge for the next event.

once again I'm just documenting this for the future:

The thinblades don't register on the crafting menus as a weapon. You cant change the appearance because it just says you do not have any weapon equipped. Sounds like it is indeed a 2da issue.
