There are three ducks and a goose near the docks in Port Alton. It took me a long time to catch on to that. Duck-Duck-Duck-Goose.
One adventure begins with when you enter a guard room manned by orcs. There are three orcs in there but two of those are asleep! That kind of detail contributes to the "real world" feel of Karador.
On one of the pen and paper module conversions, there are people outside the entrance that you can talk to. They give you a random rumor taken straight from the "rumor table" in the original module.
It is possible to crawl into the well at Port Alton. Spoiler: there is nothing in there. One of the citizens wandering Port Alton will ask, if engaged in conversation, "I wonder why all those adventurers keep crawling into our well?"
The bandits one sometimes meets on the roads have names, not just labels as "bandit".
The first loading screen features the cover of the 1980s Players Handbook. What a great way to set the tone of the game before it even begins.

Don't forget, Hometown opens with the music from the end credits of the old D&D cartoon as well. I was hoping to make a better copy of that player's handbook image you mentioned but I probably won't be messing around with load screens until I figure out how to do it around the holidays I think.

I created a halfling character named "Bungo", which I thought had a good Tolkien-esque sound to it. I tried saying my name using the "halfling language feature" to see what it would sound like. I typed in "/hal Bungo" and hit enter. Thats how I found out my characters name, translated into halfling, is "Porky".

The dwarves delve. Just did it, was awesome. Thought it really well done. I could go on about why but guess to me the adventures on Karador really seem like d&d modules. (I know they're supposed to) Karador adapts nwn to d&d, not like most that seem to do it the other way round. Hope that makes sense, anyhow, just thought I'd give credit where it's due, awesome world!

Thanks I really liked making that one. There are several things in that dungeon that I know will never be discovered but are there regardless because that is what the modsays should be there

You mean I missed a few secret doors somewhere? I've been in there many times so I thought I had most of it found.
