New changes in Karador will be as follows:
1) All animal and undead 'pets' can be 'stabled'. Animals in a typical stable and undead in a graveyard.
2) All pet stores will sell extra pet food singly. Pet stores are located in Port Alton, Renford and Nibis.
3) All conversations of pet sellers have been modified to reflect new changes and grammar corrections made.
4) Nibis now sells fire beetles. (no, they do not spit nor have any protection against fire)
5) Undead now use binding tokens to get them to follow you. Pet food won't work on them. You're alignment still shifts, down 1 point, toward evil for each summons.
6) Animal pets have the standard paper receipt to recover stabled pets.
7) Undead use a skull token to retrieve 'stabled pets' from within a graveyard.
8) You still pay to have your undead 'stabled' in a graveyard which is listed on a per undead basis. Consider you're paying the grounds keeper to buy a plot of land.
9) Extra binding tokens can be bought in Irveg.
10) Added shadow to the list of undead that can be purchased as 'pets'.
11) Removed hide properties that had immunity to mind affecting spells on most animal pets (only exist on the spider and fire beetle now).
12) Added +1 to hit on shadow attacks (due to damage reduction +1 [5 soak]). Shadow attack = 1-3 damage + strength drain. You should be able to give it a weapon now. If you give a weapon for a shadow to use in combat, it will not be able to take advantage of its strength draining ability since it requires a touch attack.
13) Opened up more inventories for pets for storing and/or placing weapons/items on pet. (not all pets were modified this way)
14) Umber Hulk and maybe 1 other exotic type pet now drops proper 'creature items' when it dies like eyes or skin etc. *****THIS WASN'T DONE CORRECTLY. THE ITEMS IN QUESTION WERE ADDED TO THE INVENTORY OF THE CREATURES INSTEAD OF APPEARING AFTER THE CREATURE DIES***** (this needs to be fixed)
15) Most pets are not dynamic so you will not see clothes pop into existence once placed in their inventory slot but should still receive any benefits/penalties.
16) Pet Huskies and oxen now use pet food. Huskies can be stabled.
17) Changed the look of the 'pet' zombie to the one that's bleeding all over the place. (I couldn't help it, it just looks so damn cool that way...)
18) Most animal pets will make some kind of appropriate sound when first talking to them.
19) Fixed the sound of the black cat and kittens so they no longer sound like the great cat (lion).
20) Made some kind of change to 3 saddle bag items but forgot what the changes were... (I think they are for horses).
21) Cleaned up/changed descriptions for the pets. I know for a fact the skeleton description was that of the zombie and had to be changed.
Anyone who reads this should be on the lookout for possible problems or errors. I wasn't able to test everything and I'm guessing something will need fixing.
