Falkners island prison is a dark place full of torment. Few who go there speak of what happens inside but as the central prison of the kingdom it is well known as a threat to many Rogues and scalawags
While it has been common practice to take spellbooks from spell casting wizards, Sorcerers need no spellbooks, so when Mad Maximus was transfered to Cell Block Seven, no one could have expected what would happen next. Reports are varied as they are insane. The inmates have been polymoprhed into monsters and the guards have been raised as undead. Who knows how long they can be contained.
The warden quickly realized that the situation could not be solved by standard guards. Rather he knew that adventurers would be the best choice to restore the prison to peace.
