Event Title: It's time to bury the Hatchet (err. Holy sword)
Dm: Harkker
Date August 25th 830 start 900 hard start estimated time of event 2 -3 hours
Event type: Mostly Hack and slash
Character level range 7-12
Background: Fort Branard has for year been under the curse of undead and while several have attempted to remove the evil effects,but none has had any success. Now a party of prisoners (or adventurers) has been sent by a secret lord of Lomar to uncover the existance of a long lost legendary holy sword Chrysomer. Scholars believe that if the holy sword is planted near the standard at the fort and kept there for 24 hours the curse will be broken. Holding the fort
for a day will be a task in and of itself, but can the party do it?
Goal The party must journey to the north fort fighting the undead within, then must place the holy sword in the ground for 24 hours (72 real time minutes.)
Please post if you are going to make it and with what character (perhaps a few details)

Momo will make it. Momo is a 1st Level Bard; Very Young Brass Dragon. Momo currently holds the Holy Sword Chrysomer and has enjoyed the extended conversations the two have been having. Momo has learned a lot about Avar (whom the Dragons call Bahamut) and all that Chrysomer has conveyed. Momo, like most Brass Dragons, prefers conversation to fighting and will often try to talk his way out of conflict (a feat that generally takes more skill in Momo's opinion).

The game is on a Wednesday? I don't have much of a choice, it has to be Arakrull for more than a few reasons.

Wednesday? The event is sunday but we could have many new players or old players as the case maybe. Either way you should gear up for a strong fight.

Ok you caught me... I did edit it... but most of us knew it was wednesday... extend my sincere regrets for the mix up. How was Gen Con?
OH by the way while you were gone Oak wanted to improve your lair... he said there were not enough rainbows and unicorns... can't wait until you see it. Oh and we play an event while you were gone and I used your character but he died... so we are having an ingame funeral service. oh and ... well nothing has really happened since you were gone... I am pretty sure that earthdreamer, skyhooker, oak, tesselar and you are playing sunday... with an off chance of wbjoe, ragnar (since I screwed up the date... but you were out of town and I depend on you to edit things and keep me in check)
so should be a full gang - someone should pick up some raise deads

What about Loo and what happened to the 'campaign corner' I set up? If you are going to put them back with each person's DM section, at least post underneath the main heading something about 'and current running adventures' or something so people know where to find them.
I think Arakrull would somehow find a way to bring himself back as an undead creature at least until he researches a way to bring himself back to life. Wouldn't that be the @!#$ if he could pull that off...
GenCon was busy, hectic, fun, drama filled, money draining, went by too quickly, back-breaking, draining, crazy, pool-lacking, and interesting. Overall it was good but there were issues that cropped up.
I bought a good covered copy of L2 The Assassin's Knot and N4 Treasure Hunt and a whole bunch of new and very old reprinted 1st ed. D&D modules from a vendor newer on the gaming scene. I have a reprint of the very 1st module ever produced and it wasn't made by TSR. This guy also redid the monster and treasure assortments split up into 4 booklets that are all loose leaf pages like way back when.

We have a pending post on nwvault. But it seems no one is checking. We could also keep a we transfer link on the forum for members only.
Those are some really cool finds at gencon iam jealous.

I must add that the reprint isn't an old reprint, it's a recent reprint. Not like I chucked out a lot of money for some rarity.
